Saint Laurent Dethrones Miu Miu as Fashion's Hottest Brand in Q3 2025

For the first time, Saint Laurent is the hottest brand in the fashion industry, according to The Lyst Index Q3 2025 report (which covers July to September) released on Wednesday. The Kering-owned luxury house dethroned Miu Miu, which has comfortably maintained a top-three position over the last year and now takes the silver.

Mirroring the industry’s many creative director switch-ups, The Lyst Index saw plenty of shifts last quarter: Loewe, which ranked second in Q2, dropped six points to come in eighth, while Cos rose four points to snatch the bronze. The Row and Coach rounded out the top five at fourth and fifth places, respectively. Prada followed at number six, marking a two-point decline. Skims held its number-15 position and Stone Island returned to the list at number 19, thanks to a 115% bump in quarter-on-quarter searches courtesy of the Oasis reunion tour.

This quarter’s fastest-moving brands included Parisian ready-to-wear label Nour Hammour, which saw a 49% increase in demand for its leather outwear; Nike, which experienced a 7% rise under new CEO Elliot Hill; and Madewell, which rose 34% against a backdrop of the “mall-brand renaissance.”

Last quarter, Lyst crowned The Row’s $690 Dune Sandals as fashion’s buzziest product, but the flip flop craze is far from over. An OG pair — Havaianas’ Top Flip-Flops, to be exact — was this summer’s hottest item, as demand spiked 34% for the more sensibly-priced $30 thong sandals this quarter. In addition to reigning as Q3’s hottest brand, Saint Laurent also boasted the second must-have product: Its Le Loafer saw a 66% month-on-month search increase this quarter.

Cos’ Chunky Cashmere Sweater came in third place (returning after previously appearing in Q4 2024), The Row’s Eel Loafer took fourth and Skims’ viral Pierced Nipple Bra surged to fifth place thanks to a 69% search spike in August. Plus, Polo Ralph Lauren’s Striped Midi Dress won the ninth hottest item (and Ralph Lauren climbed two spots on the hottest brands list) following Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s internet-breaking engagement announcement where the singer-songwriter said “yes” in the classic style.
