We are seeking a creative and seasoned Merchandising & Buying Manager to oversee the design, curation, and operation of our lifestyle shop. This role is ideal for someone passionate about fashion, golf, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the shop’s offerings, managing inventory, and maintaining our reputation for luxury and style.
Key Responsibilities:
● Design and maintain the aesthetic of the shop to reflect the Pine Hollow Club image.
● Source, forecast, and plan merchandise to meet seasonal demands.
● Manage inventory levels, including receiving, unpacking, and ensuring proper product display.
● Conduct weekly and monthly financial reporting to track inventory accuracy and sales performance.
● Research and introduce innovative brands to keep the shop competitive and relevant.
● Build and maintain vendor relationships for seasonal merchandise planning.
● Provide photography support for social media content showcasing shop products.
● Assist members and guests in selecting products that suit their needs and preferences.
● Operate the POS system and develop strategies to optimize product turnover.
Qualifications:
● 5+ years of retail experience, preferably in fashion or golf.
● Strong background in luxury customer service and merchandising.
● Innovative thinker with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to analyze data and apply insights to improve shop performance.
● Collaborative and flexible with a hands-on approach to challenges.
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
● Comfortable lifting and handling inventory up to 40 pounds.
● Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Schedule and Compensation:
● 40-60 hours per week; availability for weekend shifts as needed.
● Pay starting at $23.50/hour, with benefits including:

Additional Requirements:
