Origin Story: In 2016, scientists Carolina Reis Olivera, Alessandra Zonari, Mariana Boroni and Juliana Carvalho created OneSkin to enhance how skin functions, so it stays healthier and more resilient over time. OneSkin believes it’s crucial to make skin health a part of one’s overall approach to longevity.
More than five years of research and 900 peptides later, OneSkin developed OS-01, “the first ingredient scientifically proven to reverse skin’s biological age.” By targeting cellular senescence (one of the key drivers of skin aging) OS-01 “switches off the damaged cells that contribute to lines, wrinkles and sagging skin,” per the brand. OneSkin’s topical face and body products work to extend the health and youthfulness of skin by targeting aging cells deep beneath the surface.
