Dress codes go hand-in-hand with many types of events. Sometimes guests are encouraged to wear all white for a summer shindig or asked to don a mask for a masquerade-themed ball. In the case of the Saint Laurent Fall 2024 runway show Tuesday, it seems that guests were asked to forgo what is usually a key undergarment for those of us with boobs — bras.
Front-row attendees like Olivia Wilde, Georgia May Jagger and Elsa Hosk opted for mostly see-through tops, putting just about everything on display, their nipple-forward looks echoing those seen on the runway. Others like Iris Law, Camille Rowe and Gabbriette took a more side-boob-focused approach to the assumed dress code, wearing satin-like fabrics that emphasized what was underneath.
Other guests like Zoë Kravitz, Lila Moss and Jasmine Tookes went in a subtler direction, going braless under more conservative, but still very thin tops and dresses. Though many VIPs very obviously chose to bare all with their outfits, we can’t help but wonder whether the notorious nipple bra from Skims contributed to any of the more opaque looks. Perhaps it was just cold, in which case OG supermodels like Kate Moss and Linda Evangelista had the right idea by bundling up in chic coats.
