Nasty Gal is hiring a Production Assistant to join the creative photo production team at our offices in Los Angeles. It is an exciting opportunity to gain hands on experience in the fashion industry. The Production Assistant will be mainly involved in administrative duties related to producing photoshoots. They will assist on all photoshoots whether in studio or on location ranging from editorial to campaign projects.
Ideal Qualities:
- Strong interest in fashion
- Fast learner
- Independent but a team player
- Positive attitude & personable demeanor
- Highly organized
- Ability to adapt to fast paced environments
- Prior experience in fashion or production is a plus
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Budget Coordination (filing receipts, requesting petty cash)
- On set photoshoot support
- Pickup & Returns (props, equipment rentals, film drops, production supplies, etc)
- Catering (photoshoot meals, craft services, beverages)
- Payment Coordination (setting up vendors with finance, writing purchase orders, tracking invoices)
- Studio Organization
- Travel Coordination (booking flights, hotels, cars for crew & artists)
- Updating Creative Photoshoot Calendars and notifying all relevant teams
- File Management
- Some Travel
