TikTok creators are urging followers to find them on Instagram and YouTube as a potential ban on the platform looms in the U.S. The app currently hosts 170 million U.S.-based users who may lose access to the platform on Jan. 19 if it’s not sold to a U.S.-based company. Dries Van Noten names a new creative director
Julian Klausner is the new creative director of Dries Van Noten. Klausner has designed womenswear for the brand since 2018 and will make his menswear debut in January, presenting the brand’s Menswear Winter 2025 collection in a book format. Klausner’s first runway show is set for March 5, 2025. “I have complete confidence in Julian’s creativity and vision,” Dries Van Noten said in a statement. “He is not only a talented designer but also a clear choice to take over after my departure. Puig shares fall amid Charlotte Tilbury product withdrawal
Shares in Puig, the parent company of Charlotte Tilbury, fell by as much as 9% on the Madrid Stock Exchange early Friday following a voluntary product withdrawal of select batches of Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray due to a quality issue. The affected products are not dangerous to use. The withdrawal will likely result in a downturn for Puig’s makeup category this year, but the company is not worried about an impact on its overall performance, a representative told Reuters. {Reuters}
The raw milk ‘wellness’ craze is being impacted by bird flu
Social media’s raw milk craze hit a roadblock this week as more than 500 California dairy farms are quarantined following positive bird flu tests. The owner of Raw Farm, an affected farm and Erewhon’s raw milk distributor claims that the infected milk is still safe to drink, a direct contradiction of a CDC research note stating that the disease can remain infectious for more than four days in unpasteurized milk at up to 145.5º Fahrenheit. {Business of Fashion/paywalled}
Sabrina Carpenter fronts new Versace eyewear campaign
Sabrina Carpenter and NBA star Alexandre Sarr are the latest faces of Versace‘s Biggie eyewear collection.
