Tate McRae stars in Skims’ holiday campaign
Tate McRae is the star of Skims‘ 2024 holiday campaign, photographed by Harmony Korine. “I love the holidays, and Skims always nails the perfect pieces for every occasion,” McRae said via a press release. “This year’s holiday collection is amazing! It has such a cute mix of comfy and romantic styles. I felt amazing in everything and can’t wait to wear it all season.” The 150-plus limited-edition holiday collection will be available at Skims stores and at skims.com on Oct. 30. Jane Lauder steps down from executive roles at Estée Lauder Companies
Jane Lauder will exit her roles as chief data officer and executive vice president of enterprise marketing at the Estée Lauder Companies at the end of the year. She will remain at the company as an advisor to the CEO. Her exit follows the announcement of longtime CEO Fabrizio Freda’s retirement, which is set for June 2025, as well as the exit of CFO Tracy Travis, effective Nov. 1. Draper James names Jeannie Yoo as CEO
Jeannie Yoo will succeed Erin Moennich as CEO of Draper James, Reese Witherspoon‘s southern-inspired lifestyle brand. Yoo joined the company on Oct. 15, bringing 15 years of product development, retail and digital experience from companies including Coach, Michael Kors and Adam Lippes. Draper James also tapped Lauren Frohlinger as its vice president of merchandising and Piper Parsley as vice president of brand marketing and e-commerce. {WWD/paywalled}
Commodity opens NYC flagship store
Fragrance brand Commodity opened its first flagship store in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood on Saturday, Oct. 26. The store features all seven signature Commodity fragrances, all available in three varying intensities, and two new additions, Milk and Juice. The store, designed by architect Rosette D. Khorenian, opened five years after Khorenian’s husband Vicken Arslanian, founder and CEO of Europerfumes, acquired the brand. He and his team also plan to open Miami, Los Angeles and overseas locations in the near future. {Fashionista inbox}

Schiaparelli‘s Creative Director Daniel Roseberry is set to receive the CFDA award for International Designer of the Year and is credited with bringing the brand back into the spotlight by introducing ready-to-wear and accessories. Sandalwood is at risk of extinction
Conservation experts worry that Australian sandalwood trees, highly coveted for their distinctive fragrance, may become extinct in the natural world. The trees have been harvested at a rate unsustainable for natural regeneration for decades, leading the species to be listed as vulnerable by the International Union of Conservation of Nature.
