Olivia Rodrigo is Vogue‘s August 2023 cover star
After winning three Grammys with her debut album of teenage angst anthems, Olivia Rodrigo now has her first American Vogue cover. She stars on the August issue ahead of the Sept. 8 release of her sophomore album, “Guts.” Photographed by Théo de Gueltzl and styled in an Emporio Armani dress by Fashion Editor Alex Harrington, Rodrigo reflects on growing up in the spotlight as a breakout pop star and navigating the music industry as a young woman. Rodrigo told writer Jia Tolentino: “I was under the impression that the younger you are, the more successful you’ll be in the music industry. Tom Ford’s Peter Hawkings to show in Milan
Appointed as Tom Ford‘s creative director in April, Peter Hawkings will present his debut Spring 2024 womenswear collection for the brand during Milan Fashion Week this September. Hawkings said in a press release, “…Italian craftsmanship and excellence have been a source of inspiration for our collections and I am delighted to be showing during Milan Fashion Week.” {Fashionista inbox}

Loewe opens submissions for the Loewe Foundation Craft Prize 2024
The seventh edition of the Loewe Foundation Craft Prize will take place in Paris next spring, and submissions will remain open until Oct. 25. First launched in 2016, the Craft Prize aims to showcase excellence in modern craftsmanship and the winner receives 50,000 euros. Entries may be submitted at loewecraftprize.com. {Fashionista inbox}
