Remembering Fashion’s Night Out
Ten years ago, Anna Wintour orchestrated a city-wide event to get consumers excited about shopping again after the 2008 recession, dubbed “Fashion’s Night Out.” The chaotic evening involved the Olsen twins bartending, Wintour at a Macy’s in Queens and Vogue editor Hamish Bowles singing karaoke. {The Cut}

In 2018, China’s luxury childrenswear market outperformed both womenswear and menswear sales. While the age of those wearing baby couture is in the single digits, the sales reach much higher numbers — China’s childrenswear market is now a $29.4 billion industry.
