Milan Designers Are Honoring My 8 p.m. Bedtime for Spring 2025

Italy’s fashion capital is no stranger to bold cocktail dresses and head-to-toe leather looks destined for a night on the town, but this season, Milan‘s designers appear to have a prompt 8 p.m. bedtime on their minds. Silken pajamas, soft robes, fuzzy slippers and flowing bedsheets abound as Spring 2025 collections embrace the stylish side of falling asleep and the cozy “Sleepy Girl” aesthetic. (After all, we don’t call it “beauty sleep” for nothing.)

Genny sent striped pajama-esque ‘fits down its runway, while models at Onitsuka Tiger strutted in color-coordinating fuzzy slippers. As if just rolling out of bed, a Fiorucci model wore a puffy comforter transformed into a flowing cape, while Fendi wrapped models up in chic robes and Moschino draped pure white sheets (“literal blank canvasses for creation,” the brand’s show notes read) into eye-catching outfits. And don’t forget pillows: Vivetta featured a sky blue pillow-y clutch as well as a pillow top with calligraphy reading “Sweet Dreams,” while Moschino also gave new meaning to “puffer jacket” by constructing the silhouette out of various pillows.
