The Duchess of Sussex was stylish and sporty as she watched the Lakers progress into the NBA Playoffs.
Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world’s eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We’ll be following the Meghan Markle Effect™ with our column, “Meghan Markle Wore a Thing.”
In her first public appearance since the release of her and Prince Harry’s Netflix docuseries “Harry & Meghan,” Meghan Markle stepped out with Prince Harry for a Los Angeles basketball game on Monday evening, during which the Lakers defeated the Grizzlies to advance into the NBA Playoffs.
For a very chic yet sport-spectator-appropriate appearance, the Duchess of Sussex wore a matching blazer and shorts set from Staud. The linen suit brightened up the box where Markle watched the game with its bright salmon-pink hue amongst a sea of dark-colored outfits.
The actor paired the look with what appears to be a white top underneath, as well as a stack of bracelets layered upon her wrist. She completed the outfit with a pair of classic nude pumps (another Markle signature).
Good news for anyone who has ever wanted to mimic Markle’s effortlessly elegant and sophisticated looks, but perhaps doesn’t quite have the budget for custom Louis Vuitton: This Staud blazer and the matching shorts retail for $375 and $245, respectively, and both are currently available at Shopbop.
