Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world’s eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We’ll be following the Meghan Markle Effect™ with our column, “Meghan Markle Wore a Thing.”
While many of us are dreaming of getting out of the cold and snow, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are currently reveling in it. They’re at the Invictus Games in Whistler, British Columbia, where they are bundled up and ready to take on the frigid winter climate.
For an appearance on Monday — and a bit of skiing — Markle really leaned into the season, donning a full-length, winter white puffer coat by Mackage. (Specifically, the label’s Calina Lustrous Down Maxi Coat.)
She wore it over a black mock turtleneck and skinny jeans, and topped the look with a cozy cashmere beanie by Hat Attack and was also spotted in some rather intense (and at $815, pricey) padded black gloves by Moncler.

As for her weather-appropriate footwear, the Duchess of Sussex chose Sorel’s Joan of Arctic Women’s Waterproof Boots in gray, (which happen to be majorly on sale right now, should you also need some snow-worthy shoes!).
