Meanest Territory is currently looking for a Social Media Assistant to join our team located in the East Williamsburg headquarters in Brooklyn, New York. Since we are a small team, we would love to have someone who seeks more opportunities for growth along with the company in a long-term relationship.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in advertising/marketing communications or one relevant to fashion marketing
· 2 + years of social media marketing experience or a similar type preferably in the fashion industry
· Strong interpersonal — written and verbal — communication skills
· Resourceful, proactive, self-motivated, innovative, creative mindset
· Conceptualization, project management, and execution skills with punctuality
· Multitasking, organizational, and detail-oriented skills in a fast-paced work environment
· Software skills in Adobe Creative Suite — Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and InDesign — and Microsoft Office programs — Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
· Image/video editing and graphic design skills for content creation on social media platforms
· Deep understanding of social media platforms and analytic skills based on social media metrics and formulas to maximize performance
· Must be authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
· Assist the marketing and sales director with social media project management and project execution
· Create social media visual content — photos/graphic images & videos — and manage social media calendar to increase community engagement
· Develop weekly/monthly business reports to track marketing budget and social media metrics
· Discover new ambassadors/influencers, UGC, and opportunities with creators to build a strong brand persona
· Interact with the community via social media platforms to build a long-term relationship
· Pro-actively assist with social media initiatives, email marketing, and promotional gifting before/after product drops
· Liaise with the industry affiliates, influencers, and third-party marketing agencies
· Manage product samples inventory and digitize information for effective inventory system maintenance
· Additional projects and tasks can be assigned as required
Annual Salary: $33,280 – $37,440 (Hourly Rate: $16 – $18)*
