LESET Is Seeking A Fashion Intern In Los Angeles (Paid Internship)

ROLE OVERVIEW:
This internship is an exciting opportunity for an individual to be immersed in our Design, Development, and Production process for 3 months. This role requires an individual who is highly organized, takes initiative, and has a can-do attitude. This is a paid internship.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

– DESIGN
o Set up and maintain design boards
o Take notes during design meetings and relay information to appropriate cross-functional teams
o Keep organized system for design assets including inspiration, fabric headers, color cards, etc
o Assist in gathering research as directed
o Assist in requesting mock ups and sourcing trims
o Learn to navigate and relay information on PD spreadsheets
o Inquire about fabric / trim availabilities where needed keeping PD team cc’ed in all correspondence
o Provide design support as needed

– PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT / PRODUCTION
o Assist in sample making process, including pick up and drop offs at contractors
o Help maintain seasonal binder including master color card and filing fabric swatches
o Tag and log samples with accurate information
o Assist in preparing samples for sales presentations
o Assist in preparing trims for production
o Assist in sending out packages to vendors
o Provide PD/Prod support as needed

– ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Provide overall support where needed, including but not limited to prepping for photoshoots and sales meeting
o Help with overall office organization where needed
o Order design and office supplies
