On Wednesday night at New York City’s Monkey Bar, L’Enchanteur’s Dynasty and Soull Ogun were announced as winners of the prestigious 2024 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary. The twin-sister design duo — best known for their jewelry, though they also make clothes, eyewear and sculptural artwork — took home a grand prize of $300,000.

Olympic gold medalist Gabby Thomas also announced the runners-up, Wiederhoeft‘s Jackson Wiederhoeft and Phipps‘ Spencer Phipps, who each won cash prizes of $100,000. They, along with the Oguns, will also receive “meaningful business mentorships and a pathway to success,” per the press release.

“Our congratulations to not only our winners Dynasty and Soull, Jackson and Spencer, who join an incredible group of past CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winners, but indeed to all of this year’s finalists,” Anna Wintour, chief content officer of Condé Nast and Vogue‘s global editorial director, said in a statement. “They have reminded us that America is where fashion which embraces creativity, craft and a certain consciousness about the world today can flourish and thrive.”

Steven Kolb, CEO of the CFDA, added, “As we celebrate twenty years of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, the talent that has gone through the Fund and built careers in the American fashion industry is remarkable. This year’s finalists showcase the best of American fashion creativity and ingenuity and are sure to play a role in the continuing evolution of American design.”

Designer Grace Ling also walked away a winner, as she was named the recipient of the 20th Anniversary Mentorship Award presented by Gap Inc., which includes a financial grant and mentorship by the company’s EVP and Creative Director Zac Posen. “In my new role at Gap Inc., I am passionate about creating opportunities for the next generation of talent, integrating them into our creative family and building a support system where emerging designers can thrive, innovate, and redefine our industry,” Posen shared.

This is a major step forward for L’Enchanteur, which has been in business since 2017, though this isn’t its first industry award. In 2023, the label won the Fashion Trust US Jewelry Award. Next year is already shaping up to be another big moment for the brand, as its pieces will be spotlighted in the Metropolitan Museum’s upcoming “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” exhibition, according to Vogue.

As for the other 2024 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists — Connor McKnight, Presley Oldham, 5000 by Taylor Thompson, Jane Wade, Kate Barton and Sebastien Ami by Sebastien and Marianne Amisial — these designers will still receive mentorship from top industry insiders, creatives and executives.
