Origin Story: Courtney Somer became a wellness advocate by accident. After a health crisis in her early 20s, she visited a healer on a whim, and this chance meeting sparked a passion for alternative therapies. Somer spent years studying yoga, nutrition, aromatherapy and meditation. She considers herself a lifelong student and seeker, with a love for fragrance. In 2015, Somer launched Lake & Skye (named after her daughters) with the idea of merging the wellness knowledge with scent to create intentional gifts we give to ourselves throughout the day. Lake & Skye’s scents are meant to “uplift and transform.”
