We are looking for independent wholesale representatives to join our team. This is remote position, commission based position requiring store visits in your area although in person attendance of tradeshows during Fashion Market is required.

The wholesale representative will be responsible for generating leads, demonstrating and selling products to potential buyers. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, a deep understanding of the sales process, and feels comfortable with cold outreach. We are looking for someone is technologically savvy and comfortable learning and using our software. Ideally you represent another line in the same contemporary market.

Core responsibilities
· Generate new business opportunities through phone calls, email outreach, social media, through contacting and qualifying all in-bound web leads, and through execution of email marketing campaigns.
· Effectively communicate the collections available to prospects maintaining clear and constant communication with stores (email, text, call)
· Utilizing sales data, identify gaps in current accounts & prospective account opportunities. Create a geographically efficient plan to target these accounts.
· Prepare digital sales packages and presentations for customers.
· Create orders in Joor software, customer service: Resolve account and QC issues quickly and professionally, shipping updates, and follow-up.
· Set up fashion market appointments.
· Set up booth and work tradeshows during fashion market.
· Utilize CRM to log all account visits and activity in real time. Keep detailed notes of visits, buyer names, placements made and account contact info.
· Attend Company meetings and events

· Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Economics, BA/BFA in Fashion a plus
· Proven 2 years of experience as Sales Assistant in wholesale apparel or Assistant buying in retail industry a must.
· Understanding of the sales process and dynamics
· Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
· Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting individual
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Available to communicate by phone with customers during store hours.
· Strong computer skills – particularly Excel
· Ability to learn new systems – i.e. company specific software
· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
· Strong organizational and follow-up skills
· Team player
· Basic retail mathematics knowledge

· This is a commission-based position. Commission will vary from 10%-15% depending on the candidate’s experience.
· An active rep can anticipate her commission to be $80k – $160k a year.
· As per industry standards, travel and lodging expenses to work the tradeshows are covered by the representative.
