Jodie Turner-Smith's Latest Look Proves Bows Aren't Going Anywhere

If you thought the bow trend was gone for the summertime, Jodie Turner-Smith has made an extremely compelling argument for their sticking around.

On her way into a Monday appearance on “Good Morning America,” the actor posed for photographers wearing an intricately hand-crocheted three-piece outfit designed by Wiederhoeft. Paired with a flared-out dark brown bob and tortoise shell sunglasses, the ensemble includes a seafoam green cardigan featuring a long silk black bow closure at its center, meeting one of Wiederhoeft’s signature corsets in white at Turner-Smith’s midsection.

After the cinching effect from the boned bodice, the green crochet begins again, this time as a pencil skirt that ends shortly above her ankles. The full look is from Wiederhoeft’s Fall 2024 collection. In an interview with Fashionista backstage at the February show, designer Jackson Wiederhoeft explained the garment in further detail:

“[This look] is made from so many spools of the finest silk ribbon crocheted with gold tinsel, so it has this really sparkly appearance,” Wiederhoeft said at the time. “We wanted to play on these ideas of how can we make a couture suit that holds up with the highest quality standards of materials, but also is slightly a parody of itself.”

Turner-Smith’s stylists Wayman and Micah kept the runway’s original accessories in place, pairing the look with black sparkly wrist-length gloves, a mini vintage-style pocketbook and pointed open-toed metallic gold heels.
