Jennifer Behr Is Hiring A Social Media Manager In Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Jennifer Behr introduced her namesake collection of distinctive, luxury hair accessories in 2005. Since then, the collection has grown to include a range of seductive headpieces, jewelry and knits. Jennifer Behr is sold at fine retailers all over the world including Bergdorf Goodman, Net-A-Porter, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Browns, MyTheresa and many more.

Jennifer Behr is seeking an innovative and creative Social Media Manager to join a rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate has a background in the luxury beauty and/or fashion industries.

The Jennifer Behr studio is based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and committed to producing luxury handmade pieces in New York City. The design and creation of our product is the core of our business and we are looking for someone who can convey the beauty of our product thoughtfully across all channels.

Responsibilities:
● Conceptualize, create content, copywrite, execute, and schedule content for organic social media channels including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest.
● Support the digital marketing team by creating paid content for ads on Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
● Maintain knowledge of best practices and optimizations strategies for each platform, including evolving formats and content types.
● Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports, identify key learnings, and put insights into action.
● Capture and edit behind-the-scenes studio content to tell the brand story.
● Support product launches and promotions with engaging organic content.
● Build community engagement through effective interaction with followers.
● Identify fast and slow selling products, and strategize on creative content to bring visibility to priority pushes.
● Capture all iphone video, camcorder video, film and polaroid images on seasonal model shoots.
● Assist with photoshoot production, creating shotlists and content briefs.
● Work with E-Commerce Assistant to organize, rename and properly file all social content.
● Work with VIP Manager to create exclusive content for “Close Friends” groups.
● Work with E-Commerce Assistant to keep the Instagram Shop refreshed and engaging.
● Support brand/PR team on influencer identification for collaborations.
● Support brand/PR team on showcasing press clippings and other PR initiatives such as red carpet roundups.
● Capture UGC, create reposted content and save it in the Digital Asset Manager.
● Maintain an organized DM inbox and respond to customer comments and messages efficiently while adhering to company communication standards and guidelines.

Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a closely related field.
● 2-4 years of related work experience in social content creation for a luxury brand, preferably in the fashion, jewelry, or beauty industries.
● Deep experience working with Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok.
● Video editing skills.
● Proven ability to produce content that scales.
● Exceptional attention to detail and quality control.
● Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Compensation: $80k – $95k, depending on experience.

This role is hybrid remote work and in-person from our studio office in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
