Jennifer Behr introduced her namesake collection of distinctive, luxury hair accessories in 2005. Since then, the collection has grown to include a range of seductive headpieces, jewelry, and hats. Jennifer Behr is sold at fine retailers all over the world including Bergdorf Goodman, Net-A-Porter, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and many more.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual looking to join our production and design team. The individual in this role must have the ability to self motivate and move from task to task as needed. This is a full time in person position at our studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. This role reports to the Director of Product.
Requirements:
● 1-2 years previous experience in the luxury accessories/jewelry industry
*prior domestic production experience is a bonus for this role
● Proficiency in all Adobe Programs
● Proficiency in all Microsoft Programs
● Excellent communication and followup skills
● Extreme attention to detail and organization
● Self starter
● Finely tuned sense of quality and understanding of luxury product
Responsibilities:
● Receive and quality control all finished production units
● Pack and transfer all finished production units to external warehouse
● Quality control raw materials and embroideries from external suppliers
● Maintain studio stock supplies & warehouse packaging materials
● Work with Assistant Designer to create and maintain all sample trackers for the season
● Work with Assistant Designer to create and maintain all Tech packs and specs for each season
● Responsible for seasonal linesheet creation and maintenance
● Responsible for managing seasonal flat photo image process and naming
● Manage repairs and returns from wholesale and individual customers
● Manage special order production and sampling requests in conjunction with Customer Service and Director of Product
● Assist sales team with product information and copy as requested by wholesale accounts
Compensation: $55k – $65k, depending on experience.
