As a supermodel, Jasmine Tookes is no stranger to change, but 2025 has brought quite a bit of newness to her life — both personally and professionally.
In May, she co-launched Brunel, a body-care label that debuted with three body oils. A month later, she announced she’s expecting her second child — her first boy — with husband Juan David Borrero. Then, in October, Tookes made history as the first pregnant model to open a Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. (She’s also the second Black model ever to open the show, following Naomi Campbell in 1996.)

For her latest move, motherhood and fashion collide through a new collaboration between Bumpsuit and Brunel. The partnership includes a limited-edition collection of Brunel body care essentials paired with Bumpsuit’s signature pieces that focus on luxurious self-care and indulgence during pregnancy and postpartum.
“Motherhood is such a beautiful, demanding experience and we often forget to pour back into ourselves,” Tookes tells Fashionista over email. “I want shoppers to feel nurtured and to feel like these products were made with them in mind, because they were.”

What’s a luxury beauty item you’re into right now?
Right now, I’m obsessed with the Augustinus Bader Rich Cream. It just makes my skin so glow-y and hydrated, especially during pregnancy when my skin needs a little extra love.
What’s a favorite drugstore beauty item of yours?
I love the Aquaphor Lip Repair. It’s so simple but so good. I keep one in every bag. Especially when traveling or pregnant, hydration is key.
What’s a beauty staple you love so much you’ve bought multiples?
Definitely my Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. It’s one of those products that never fails; it’s light, smooth and perfect for a natural look. I have one in my makeup bag, one in my purse and one in the car.
What’s an accessory you’re eyeing right now?
I’ve been really into statement earrings lately, like something gold and sculptural. They instantly elevate even the simplest outfit, which I love.
What shoes do you want to buy right now?
Probably a pair of The Row flats or loafers. They’re minimal, timeless and perfect for mom life. Chic but comfortable.
Any other luxury items you’re lusting after?
The Bvlgari Serpenti watch. It’s such a forever piece. So elegant, structured, and something you can pass down one day. I might just have to make the jump and purchase one for myself.
What’s an affordable fashion item on your shopping list?
A really good white tee. I’m always on the hunt for the perfect one. I love the ones from Zara or Skims; they’re soft, fitted and go with everything.
What’s a wardrobe staple you love so much you’ve bought multiples?
Definitely blazers. I probably have one in every shade of beige and black. They just pull any look together instantly, from denim to dresses.
What’s the last product an influencer or celeb influenced you to buy?
Hailey Bieber got me with the Rhode Glazing Milk. I saw it all over my feed and finally tried it and it really does make your skin super dewy and fresh. Totally worth the hype.
