Everybody has lots of opinions about sunscreen, but, according to experts, the most important one is this: Wear it. So, when I come across a formula that’s as close to a crowd-pleaser as the sun protection category is ever going to find, I’m not going to shut up about it.
Meet Dune The Bod Guard Invisible Gel, the lightweight body sunscreen that pretty much everyone loves. I brought it on my bachelorette trip, have given it to friends, recommended it to social media followers and even stocked my husband up to share with his softball team — all with rave reviews. (My husband, in particular, loves this stuff: He insists that I keep a stockpile of at least one extra bottle for fear that we’ll run out.)
Every detail of this product has been so carefully considered, even the pickiest sunscreen complainers will be hard pressed to find any gripes with it. The broad-spectrum SPF 30 has a soothing gel texture that’s neither greasy nor sticky, with a relatively neutral “sea salt” scent. It soaks in quickly, without leaving any sort of cast, residue or pilling; it’s spiked with vitamin E for antioxidant protection and glycerin to hydrate; it comes in a jumbo 8.4-oz tube to enable liberal application.
