It’s only been a day since Zendaya gagged us all with that robotic archival Mugler moment, and we already have another epic red-carpet pull to obsess over, courtesy of her “Euphoria” co-star Hunter Schafer.

The actor arrived at the “A Different Man” premiere at the Berlinale International Film Festival Friday in look seven from John Galliano’s triumphant 2024 Maison Margiela Artisanal runway. The show was as much about setting, storytelling and theatricality as it was about the beautifully executed clothes, none of which would be considered obvious contenders for the red carpet. It was going to require the right person and the right stylist to pull it off out in the real world, and Schafer and stylist Dara Allen excelled at bringing it to life.

Taking inspiration from the runway, Schafer posed with her arms wrapped around the elegantly draped grey cardigan, below which a bronze fringed floor-length skirt with exaggerated hips provided even more drama. Her beauty look consisted of a chicly disheveled updo and a graphic red eyeliner with otherwise natural makeup. She wore no jewelry or nail polish, letting the dramatic ensemble speak for itself.

It all bodes extremely well for looks to come from upcoming press around her film “Cuckoo,” which also premiered at the festival Friday.
