HOLD NYC is an emerging, contemporary, queer coded menswear brand that values quality, refreshed pieces for a cool, artistic audience. We pride ourselves on our connection to the city, from its nightlife, to its garment production, and seek to expand our offering.
Our interns will get the opportunity to work alongside the creative director to assist with conceptualizing, researching, sourcing, and sampling. Seeing this process will provide valuable insights about how a small menswear company. We are seeking someone who is curious about all aspects of a startup fashion business and who is eager to learn and assist.
Responsibilities may include:
● Researching, in the market or online, relevant styles for the season
● Organizing line sheets, excel docs, and sketches
● Organizing fabric and trim samples
● Aiding in the creation of brand imagery such as photoshoots, model casting, and social media post creation
● Assisting with orders
● Sketching designs and details
● Assisting in day-to-day operations
Requirements:
● Located in NYC
● Available to work in person 2-3 days a week, 1-5pm
● Proficient in excel, illustrator, photoshop
