If you want a career fashion, there are many routes you can take towards reaching that goal, including a wide array of options when it comes to secondary education. Whether you want to study design or merchandising, at a small art college or large university, in New York or Ohio or Paris, there’s a school for you.
Fashionista’s Fashion School Directory is a great place to start. It comprises just about every corner of the globe, from Brooklyn to Belgium, and all types of degree programs, from certificates to Bachelors to Masters.
It includes institutions focused on fashion, like New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology, Italy’s Accademia Costume & Moda and California’s Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, as well as prestigious art and design schools, like Istituto Europeo di Design, Parsons School of Design, Columbus College of Art and Design and Savannah College of Art and Design.
