There are perfectly good celebrity style moments, and then there are the looks that really stick with you, the ones you try desperately to recreate at home. In ‘Great Outfits in Fashion History,’ Fashionista editors are revisiting their all-time favorite lewks.

Thanks to this week’s announcement concerning Season 4, “Bridgerton is back to consuming my every thought. The next season won’t release until 2026, but my soul will know no rest until Benedict is back on my screen.

To (somewhat) quell my yearning heart, I’m turning my attention to fashion moments that showcase any inkling of a connection to the Regency era. Sandra Oh‘s sartorial oeuvre, surprisingly, fits into this self-initiated quest: At the 2005 Emmy Awards (during her “Grey’s Anatomy” era), the actor donned a strapless, drop-waist midi, with a flared skirt.

The star of the outfit, though, is the bodice: a grey and white color-blocked corset with a dainty bow in the middle. (The designer is unknown, but had this come 14 years later, it would fit perfectly in Wiederhoeft’s Fall 2024 collection.) Oh accessorized the look with pointy-toe slingback pumps, a beaded clutch and crystal drop earrings.
