There are perfectly good celebrity style moments, and then there are the looks that really stick with you, the ones you try desperately to recreate at home. In ‘Great Outfits in Fashion History,’ Fashionista editors are revisiting their all-time favorite lewks.

In honor of what would have been Heath Ledger‘s 43rd birthday on Tuesday, we’re revisiting one garment in particular that the late actor seemingly favored in his closet: a dusty blue suit jacket with red, turquoise, yellow and white stitching loosely outlining the lapels and cuffs.

The first time Ledger wore it was at the 2001 “A Knight’s Tale” premiere, paired with matching trousers and a pale cyan blue dress shirt underneath.

The leading man would go on to wear the suit again at the Deauville Festival of American Cinema a few months later, this time layered atop a navy sweater.

For his final public appearance in the blazer — at the 2005 premiere of his film, “Casanova” — Ledger paired it with mismatched gray pinstripe trousers in addition to a button-up shirt, tie and sweater vest.
