Believe it or not, London Fashion Week has already come and gone, marking the fashion month halfway point for designers and fashion lovers alike.
London’s runways were full of excitement: The week started strong with Harris Reed‘s celebration of crinolines, completed with household upholstery. It continued with an “exploration of modern prettiness” at JW Anderson, who restricted materials to just a few fabrics. Simone Rocha staged a collection complete with tulle, flowers and closely tailored blacks, influenced by carnations and dancers Michael Clark and Pina Bausch. Other headlines from the week included S.S. Daley’s first womenswear runway, Nensi Dojaka’s collaboration with Calvin Klein and Chopova Lowena‘s Hellmann’s Mayonnaise tie-in.
