The annual CFDA Awards — nominally the biggest night in American fashion — are going down tonight at the Brooklyn Museum. You can think of the evening as fashion’s equivalent to prom, complete with statement looks, A-list celebrity dates and a crowned king and queen (or king and king or queen and queen, we suppose): Menswear and Womenswear Designer of the Year.
