Every May, we venture to the French Riviera for a veritable feast of couture. It’s there — in the birthplace of rosé and seaside chic — that we watch the who’s who of fashion and film swap their denim cut-offs from Coachella for tulle confections by Valentino and Prada, as they attend the Cannes Film Festival. And while every day presents us with a new sartorial treat, there’s nothing quite like the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala.

On this evening, models — and the occasional actress — gather at the gloriously chic Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc to help raise money for amfAR’s life-saving research programs and keep the fight against AIDS in the global media spotlight. This year’s guests include everyone from top models to fashion bigwigs to musicians and film stars, which means we’re in for a parade of strong looks.
