It’s cooler than your average crop top.
My favorite breed of influencers are the French “It” Girls. They wear red lipstick and prints like a pro and manage to make even the simplest of things look like rare vintage gems. These days, their feed is filled with pieces from their own collections — somehow, they’ve all managed add a layer of chicness to floral skirts and pearl-embellished tops — but there is one top that keeps making an appearance, and it’s not part of any Parisian influencer-led label.
The top — or short-sleeve cropped cardigan rather — hails from Uruguay, where it’s designed and made locally by Tach Clothing. And it is thanks to this now-ubiquitous sexy knit that I discovered the South American brand, which then led me to discover the springy knit of my dreams. It also happens to be a short-sleeve cropped cardigan, but it comes in a crisp white and has an interesting scooped neckline. Plus, it features oblong-shaped black buttons that make the midriff-baring garment cooler than your average summer crop top.
