There’s nothing better than looking like a put-together adult when mingling with old family friends.
For me, a Thanksgiving outfit consists of a holiday card-worthy, pumpkin spice-colored sweater or a top with tasteful frills. I’m also a fan of fall fabrics, like corduroy and cashmere, and I never say no to a puffed sleeve or a ruffled collar. I dress up for the turkey feast, because the characters on “Gossip Girl” always did, and there’s nothing better than looking like a put-together adult when mingling with old family friends.
Doên, a dreamy three-year-old label led by sisters, makes clothes I lust after year-round, but there’s something about the brand’s earthy and romantic aesthetic that has me particularly jazzed about wearing it while eating multiple servings of stuffing and pie. The blouse I’m eyeing in particular is covered in a vintage-inspired floral print and is detailed with pretty pintucks and ruffles. I’d pair it with delicate gold jewelry, high-waisted flared pants and my peach-colored, square-toed boots by Paloma Wool.
