Charlotte Brody is looking for a Product Development/ Production Intern that has an interest/passion in learning more about the Garment Development & Production process. As our intern You will work with both our Product Development and Production team and learn about the process from a garments concept to execution.
Requirements:
-Prior internship experience is preferred but not required
-Strong organizational skills
-Positive Attitude!!
-Basic understanding of Fabrics, sewing, product development process
-Photoshop + Illustrator knowledge (not a requirement but a plus!)
-Must be able to commit to at least 2 days a week
-Must be In NYC
Responsibilities:
-Assisting with process for Production & Development
-Assist on Prepping cut tickets, pulling fabric,
-Assisting in quality control at factories for Production
-Assist during collection prep; pulling/setting up a collection to be sent to our stylists + creating labels
-Assist with factory communication and Midtown errands
-Assist on Sourcing fabrics, trims, notions, etc. within Midtown…
-Assist in managing the fabric inventory for both Development & Production
-Maintain seasonal binders & organization for each team
-Organize fabric swatch inventory
– Help keep studio organized!
This is an in-person internship and a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work with a great team who are all passionate about Design and Production! This is an unpaid internship, but we are open to helping you obtain college credits.
