Experience: 1-2 years styling or market experience
This is a support role––candidates will see and learn a lot but must be comfortable in a fast paced environment and be extremely organized. You will be a key foundational piece of the styling team and support the first assistant.
The ideal candidate must be responsible, proactive, extremely detail-oriented, a true team player and eager to learn. Bonus if you have an interest in trends, new designers, and a love of vintage. This is a fast-paced and dynamic position, applicants must be able to stay focused under pressure, be comfortable being client facing and come with a can-do attitude. Hours will vary and include some weekends, early mornings, late nights, and travel will be required.
Responsibilities include
– Market research and sample requests, sample check-ins & returns at a high volume, assistance with look guide creation, assisting and attending client fittings, attending showroom appointments, liaising with PR and showroom contacts, maintaining styling team calendar and shared documents. The role will work very closely with the Market Assistant on the styling team.
Applicants must be local to LA and have a reliable mode of transportation.
