Celebrity fashion stylist Andrew Gelwicks is looking for interns to start immediately in New York City. Please note this is an unpaid internship. This is a fast-pace position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to immerse yourself in the trenches of celebrity styling.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
● Assisting with VIP fittings and photoshoots
● Real-world experience with celebrity styling for red carpets, press tours, etc.
● First-hand look into the operation of a styling business
● Gaining strong understanding into the intricacies of the fashion industry
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Manage and keep inventory of all samples coming in and out of the showroom
● Picking up and dropping off samples from designers’ studios
● Helping pull/shop for fittings/shoots
● Preparing for fittings/shoots and being there day-of
REQUIREMENTS:
● Be able to work a minimum of 2-3 days a week
● Passion and basic understanding of the fashion industry
● Strong organizational skills
