Celebrities Wore Their Best Tweed and Fine Jewels to Celebrate Chanel's New Store

On Wednesday night, Chanel celebrated the opening of its new Watches and Fine Jewelry flagship on New York City’s Fifth Avenue with a chic dinner party, packed with A-listers wearing their best tweed and jewels (all by Chanel, of course).

Most celebrity guests ditched color in favor of black and white (save for Natasha Lyonne, who donned a glitzy gold and black suit): Katie Holmes wore a matching black cardigan and pants set; Carey Mulligan sported a cream round-shoulder blazer and relaxed-fit trousers; and Chase Sui Wonders opted for a skirt set. They accessorized with a selection of jewelry from the Fashion house’s own collection, in honor of the launch.
