Cardi B is no stranger to a larger-than-life red carpet look. But her 2024 Met Gala might set a new record.
The rapper arrived on the cream-and-green carpet wearing a gigantic black mermaid gown by Windowsen — the theatrical, avant-garde emerging label by Sensen Lii — with a skirt that flared out so far, it required its own entourage to navigate the step-and-repeat.
Cardi B slowly made her way through with the help of nine men in suits, who rearranged and fluffed her skirt as needed.

The dress boasted layered ruffles that continued all the way up the bodice, before jutting out like wings at the shoulders.

Though her outfit was completely monochromatic, Cardi B added some color to her look through her emerald jewelry, bright-green acrylics and coordinating green eyeliner along her lower lash line. The singer also donned a height-defying wrapped headpiece on top of her long hair.
