Brand Glory Agency is seeking freelance Sales Assistants & Sales Reps for the upcoming COTERIE trade show, happening September 22nd – 24th at the Jacob Javitz Center. Continued collaboration is possible. We represent leading women’s contemporary apparel brands from around the world, across America.
SALES/COTERIE Responsibilities:
• Welcome and engage retail buyers, collecting their contact information.
• Familiarize potential buyers with two apparel collections.
• Support the Dir of Sales – Sales Reps during presentations and assist with order completion.
• Style and curate looks to help retailers with their order assortments.
• Handle sample garments, including hanging and steaming.
CONTINUED Collaboration Opportunity:
• Nurture relationships with new and existing accounts, identifying strategies to grow business opportunities and enter untapped markets.
• Engage with accounts both virtually and in-person to promote and sell current inventory as well as upcoming product deliveries.
• Proactively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and leveraging social media platforms.
• Create weekly emails using images from the brands, then personally follow up with buyers through phone calls.
Requirements:
• A keen sense of style and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in retail or showroom environments.
• Positive attitude, high energy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong multitasking abilities, and entrepreneurial.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Buyer relationships and account list is a plus.
