One week after winning Google Shopping American Emerging Designer of the Year at the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards, Ashlynn Park of New York-based label Ashlyn has also been deemed the recipient of the 2025 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. Park will take home a grand prize of $300,000, along with lasting mentorships from industry leaders.
Two runners-up were also announced: Julian Louie of Aubero and Stephanie Suberville of Heirlome will each receive a $100,000 grant. Model Alex Consani made the announcement at a dinner hosted by the CFDA and Vogue on Monday evening at the Crane Club in New York City.
“We just saw Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, the winners of our very first CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund back in 2004, triumph with their Loewe debut in Paris,” said Anna Wintour, chief content officer of Condé Nast and global editorial director of Vogue, in a statement. “There are such world class talents working in America, and I am just as excited and optimistic about how far this year’s finalists will go.”
“The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund is about giving emerging designers the support they need to build lasting businesses,” added Steven Kolb, CEO and president of the CFDA. “This year’s winners reflect the purpose of the fund — to ensure American fashion continues to grow, evolve and lead with creativity.”
Park’s 2020-founded eponymous brand centers around minimalistic, sleek, tailored ready-to-wear and “challenges a world of overproduction and overconsumption by focusing on zero-waste creation,” according to the brand’s website.
The remaining finalists of this year’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund include Bach Mai, Bernard James, Ashley Moubayed of Don’t Let Disco, Gabe Gordon and Timothy Gibbons of Gabe Gordon, Jamie Okuma, Meruert Tolegen and Peter Do. Though these designers will not be awarded any monetary prize, each one will still receive mentorship from various leaders in the fashion industry.
