July 4th may be a hot dog-filled holiday in the U.S., but in Paris, it’s the peak of Haute Couture Week — and on Tuesday, Chanel presented its latest offering in the French capital city, on the Right Bank, in view of the Eiffel Tower.
The celebrities in attendance at the Fall 2023 Haute Couture show seemed to be making the most of the outdoor venue and the picture-perfect backdrop, fully embracing the joie de vivre. Lupita Nyong’o — clad in a matching lavender tweed vest-and-shorts set — was a definite standout, along with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Sofia Coppola and Rashida Jones. “Daisy Jones and the Six” co-stars Riley Keough and Camila Morrone were there as well, as was Vanessa Paradis, a longtime Chanel ambassador who also appears in a film the house released on Tuesday to accompany the collection.
