Accent PR_ojects is a solutions based communications and digital strategy firm that is switching up the traditional agency model.
Responsibilities:
● Develop and execute creative and holistic PR & communication plans for Accent PR_ojects clients
● Responsible for all press-related activities for American market (features, news coverage, sample trafficking)
● Conceptualize, plan, organize, manage and execute all brand events in New York and internationally, including runway shows, dinners, cocktails, press days : budget, site search, supplier management, invitations, guest list, seating, VIP dressing, post-event media coverage
● Lead PR team by setting objectives, delegating tasks, and assessing the team members’ performance
● Hire, supervise, and manage PR assistant and interns and oversee daily tasks including sample pick-ups, returns, check-ins, filing and general organization
● Build and maintain relationships with clients, editors and stylists, influencers and key players in the fashion industry
● Maintain an up-to-date editor and influencers lists for different markets
● Draft and edit press materials including press releases, media blasts and pitches
● Produce and execute seedings with celebrities, influencers, and key opinion leaders
● Be client facing and conduct weekly meetings
Experience & Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Marketing or PR or equivalent years of working experience
● 5-7 years of experience in media or fashion PR in an agency or in-house capacity
● Has relationships with editors and regularly interact with the media Exceptional interpersonal skills
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
● Able to think and work strategically; able to plan ahead and foresee opportunities
● Able to work independently and be self-motivated while still working within a team environment
Compensation: $85k – $110k, commensurate of experience.
