A Gen-Z Creative Director Takes the Reins at Ivy Moda Spring 2026

Vietnamese fashion brand Ivy Moda, which is known in its home country for its officewear and evening gowns, is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a bold new look unveiled during its New York Fashion Week debut. Straight from the mind of Vy Nguyen (the 24-year-old designer taking the reins as creative director of her family’s label), Ivy Moda’s Spring 2026 collection reinterprets its professional workwear DNA for a new generation. Put simply, this isn’t your (or her) mother’s Ivy Moda.

Outfitted in a black-and-white color palette, the modern officewear collection features sheer maxi dresses, barely-there belted tops, structured blazers, pleated mini skirts, asymmetrical white button-ups and flowing gowns. Sculptural resin tops molded to models’s bodies, while billowing trains and silk-like slip dresses emphasized Nguyen’s fascination with movement on the runway.

But what separates the modern Ivy Moda from previous iterations of the brand? “I do think it’s the sexiness of it,” Nguyen tells Fashionista. “Of the things that we do sometimes, it might be a little bit more conservative compared to what I just did. I do think that I really like the sexiness and the chicness of it.”
